Nanaimo Horticultural Society 80th Anniversary

Join
us for a friendly community celebration as the Nanaimo Horticultural Society
marks its 80th anniversary. Come spend the day at Maffeo Sutton Park, enjoy
garden-inspired activities, meet fellow plant lovers, and learn something new.

When: Sunday, August 23, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where: Lions Pavilion, Maffeo Sutton Park

There will be worm composting demonstrations, plant propagation workshops,
plants and seeds for sale, cupcakes by donation, and garden members on site to
answer your gardening questions. Our friends from Growing Opportunities Farm
Community Co-operative and Soil ‘N Green Landscaping will also be joining us.

Bring a friend, bring your curiosity, and come celebrate a wonderful local
gardening community that has been growing since 1946.
